Forgotten Fruits Nursery specialises in apples, pears, plums, peaches, figs nectarines, apricots, almonds and persimmons.
We focus on growing hardy heirloom fruit tree varieties which suit the warmer Northland climates but will also adapt well to most other New Zealand regions and climates.
We grow and raise our stock at our nursery situated on the ‘Tara’, a rich pocket of volcanic soil at the foot of the Brynderwyn Hills situated between Kaiwaka & Mangawhai, Northland. We use a variety of techniques including budding, grafting and seed raising depending on variety and stock. We also supply rootstock, mostly peach and are happy to advise on suitability.
